Car Air Conditioning Recharge

Did you know your air conditioning system should be serviced every 2 years? Over time the system becomes less efficient and bacteria can start to build up in the vents.

How it works

The recharge process involves removing any old refrigerant gas and oil from your car or van’s air-con system before replacing this with the correct amount of new refrigerant and lubricant as per your vehicle manufacturer’s recommendation. A vacuum test is also performed to ensure that there are no cracks or damage in your vehicle’s air conditioning system that could allow the gas to leak out.

Service as standard

As part of our air conditioning service, we decontaminate the air vents to kill the bacteria with a special cleaning spray that also leaves the car smelling fresh again.

We’ve got you covered

We stock both gas types; R134A for vehicles manufactured before 2014 and R1234YF for vehicles manufactured since 1st January 2017. Vehicles manufactured between these dates might use either. Electric vehicles use the same types of refrigerant gas.
